Nate Stemper

COO & Director of Performance

Nate Stemper is the founder and creative mind behind MASH Performance. Nate walked into an unfinished mezzanine space in 2013 and turned it into one of the most well known performance centers in Minnesota.

A graduate of St. Anthony Village in 2003, Nate accepted a roster spot on the UW-Eau Claire football team. While in Eau Claire, Nate developed a passion for strength and conditioning that still burns inside him today. Nate graduated from UW-Eau Claire with a B.S. of Human performance in 2009. While still attending UW-Eau Claire, Nate took his first internship with Acceleration MN. Nate trained mainly hockey athletes inside Acceleration MN North, teaching sprint mechanics and plyometrics. He also ran the Blaine Bengals High School football program through their summer strength and conditioning.

Nate made such an impact, Acceleration would move forward and hire him to run their south location. While at Acceleration, Nate would meet and work with MASH founder Tom Buske. Nate continued to elevate in the strength and conditioning community, when he was offered and accepted the head trainer role at Elite One Sports Performance in 2011. Nate ran semi private training, created individualized programs, and ran all speed work within Elite One.

When Nate heard Tom had started MASH, he couldn’t resist the opportunity to own his own performance training facility. Nate dove all in to MASH, turning nothing into a fully outfitted 10,000 sq. ft. gym. Nate has earned the reputation to go above and beyond for every client within MASH, and has played an enormous role in having elite organizations like Hill Murray Athletics, NIACC Baseball, and Eagan Baseball call MASH Performance their home.
