Andy Henkemeyer

Player Development Coordinator

Since joining MASH in 2014, Andy Henkemeyer has established himself as one of the most sought after 18U and under instructors in the state of Minnesota. A consistent workhorse who doesn’t miss a lesson, practice, or game, Andy has provided not only our athletes, but our coaching staff a consistent expectation of doing things “the MASH way.”

As the director of baseball, Andy has a hand in everything we do from a development standpoint with our MASH programs. His unique blend of energy and accountability allow for him to coach and relate to all different ages within our program.  A 2009 graduate from Sauk Rapids-Rice High School, Andy was named All-State and Academic All-State his senior season. Andy decided to stay close to home and make a life long dream come true by accepting a roster spot to play for the University of Minnesota.

The hometown kid made good at the “U” by becoming the 2012 and 2013 MVP for the Golden Gophers. Andy continued to rack up the MVP accolades in the Northwoods League with St. Cloud. He was named an All-Star in both the 2011 & 2012 seasons, while being named team MVP in 2011. Andy would sign with the St. Paul Saints after graduating from The “U.” Andy wasted no time getting into the coaching ranks, starting at the age of 23 at the Saint Paul Saints Academy.

While still working at Saints Academy, Andy began to run lessons within MASH and made an immediate impact on the development of our players. It was an easy transition based on his rapport with both our players and parents. MASH has become a nationally known brand under his watch as we continue to work to raise the standard within our walls daily.
