  • Hours:  Days and hours of work will vary based on the needs of the program and as job duties demand. Early Morning, evening, and weekend work is required.   

*On boarding process will take 6-12 months. 

About The Role

MASH Baseball is a leader in both player development and nationally ranked club teams. The Director of Baseball is responsible for our current and future success of MASH Baseball. With the support of ownership, you will have the opportunity to improve our processes, strengthen our club teams, and develop our coaching staff. This requires exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

You will work alongside coordinators dedicated to providing unmatched results and training experience. A deep understanding of our products, services, and team is required so we can leverage all aspects of our business to support individual training and career goals. To truly excel in this position, you must also have the ability to confront challenging conversations in a positive and proactive way, building strong relationships with coaches, players, and parents.
 

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage our staff to create synergy across player development and club teams
  • Work with ownership in setting and meeting operational budgets
  • Lead a team of full-time employees, including the management of their employee reviews
  • Improve current business systems and develop new systems based on needs of the department
  • Select Team Responsibilities
    • Establish all team inclusions with ownership
    • Execute the team selection and tryout process, including rostering for spring, summer, and fall teams
    • Continued roster management
    • Hire and manage our entire coaching staff
    • Point person for customer service conversations in all baseball activities outside of client accounts
    • Protect the program - establish and maintain MASH standards of execution
  • Player Development Responsibilities
    • Create the bridge between players and their individualized training plan
    • Sell programs and training
    • Create and manage the training schedule year-round
    • Partner with coordinators to ensure product standards and results are met

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum five (5) years experience in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of managing a team
  • Background In baseball
  • Conflict management experience
