Jenny Carpenter

Fastpitch director

Jenny joins the MASH team to take the lead in our Fastpitch Development. With more than 15 years of fastpitch and baseball coaching experience and extensive experience in leadership and program development, Jenny’s expertise will help launch MASH into this exciting new adventure.

Jenny is focused on developing fundamental excellence and execution in her athletes. Her progression-based approach increases body-awareness and helps athletes grow in both ability and performance. Jenny emphasizes the development of the mental side of the game as much as the physical. She believes that success comes within the integrity of the process. Fall in love with the work and good things will happen!

Jenny will lead the Fastpitch off-season hitting program and work on the development of future MASH Fastpitch programming and teams. Stay tuned!

As an Activities Director for the MSHSL, Carpenter focused on leadership development for coaches in her program along with creating a culture of support, growth and excellence across ALL programs. She knew the best way to serve her athletes was to invest in those leading them – culture matters! Her leadership development model was shared statewide through her presentation at the MNIAAA State Conference in 2013. Jenny also successfully led her school through a transition in conferences and was on the committee for the development of the Southern Football Alliance – a grassroots initiative to create a right-sized football only conference in Southeastern Minnesota.

Jenny is passionate about all things coaching, program development and community engagement. She strives to create a learning environment where each athlete feels valued and sees skill improvement for self and team. She treasures the vessel that athletics is for the development of the life-skills, honorable character and core values needed for success in life.
