February 15th-21st

1. Nick Zwack - LHP at Xavier University

Xavier's pitchers allowed only three hits combined, paced by starter Nick Zwack who went 5.0 scoreless innings, striking out eight and not allowing a hit.

2. Max Carlson - RHP at University of North Carolina

Carlson, who made his Tar Heel debut, pitched an immaculate 6.2 innings, which yielded three hits, two earned runs and eight strikeouts. His eight punchouts were the most by a UNC freshman in his first start since A.J. Bogucki had 10 vs. North Carolina A&T on April 8, 2014.

3.  Adam Weed - OF at University of Illinois Chicago

Weed got his first taste of college baseball this past weekend in the Flames series at Florida International.  Always a special moment when our guys get to live out their dream of playing in a division 1 baseball game.

4.  Jake Thompson - INF at Oklahoma State University

Jake wasted no time in getting the cowboys off to a good 2021 season providing the teams first hit of the year!

5.  Joey Hurth - RHP at Indiana State University

Joey made his collegiate debut for the Sycamores against Pitt this past weekend striking out 2 of the 4 batters he faced. Not a bad start to a long career for the true freshman!
