Steve McGuiggan

Chief culture officer

Steve McGuiggan is the co-founder, Chief Culture Officer and Director of Baseball. Steve has worked side by side with founder Tom Buske since 2012, and has been the driving force in creating a community and culture that is based off the growth of the person first and the athlete second.

During his time as the Director of Baseball from 2012-2017, MASH was awarded “Health Business Most Likely to Succeed” by Minnesota Business Magazine. He was also awarded one of the most prestigious honors in youth sports, being named a Minnesota Chapter Coach of the Year award winner by the Positive Coaching Alliance. The national brand only awards 150 coaches across the country in all sports this honor.

Since being established in 2012, Steve has played a part in growing every branch within MASH. On the baseball side, Steve leads our MASH Hitters program, off-season development classes, Team Training, and youth programs. His role continues to evolve, after being named Culture Coach in 2018. Steve will now play a key role in the ever growing MASH Performance, as a full time strength coach within the summer speed program.

Steve is responsible for teaching culture, self belief, and leadership to youth organizations, college teams, professional athletes, and corporate America. He joins Harvey on the MindStrong podcast, interviewing the worlds highest performers and passing that information to MASH.

Steve’s passion for others made him the clear choice to be named the President of the M Foundation, our non-profit organization, created to help sports families who face either unexpected hardships or financial difficulties.

Steve’s love for his co-workers, the families, and the players of MASH is evident thanks to his consistent presence. His emotion and energy demand we continue to raise our standard every day.
