Tommy "guns" Buske

Tom Buske is founder and owner of Minnesota Mash Baseball Club. Tom began his coaching career at the Minnesota Baseball Instructional School from 2006-2009. It was that experience that motivated Tom to begin the program Total Baseball Training in 2010. Tom owned and operated Total Baseball Training from its inception and developed a program that gained over 120 athletes from word of mouth. Tom is now the Owner of Minnesota Mash Baseball Club.
Tom is also a strength and conditioning specialist and was the strength coach at Elite One Sports Performance from 2009-2012. While instructing at Elite One Sports Performance, Tom was in charge of developing and running all baseball strength and conditioning programs. Tom was the head of scheduling, marketing, and advertising for Elite One Sports Performance.
Tom’s playing career began at Apple Valley High School from 2000-2004. During his time at Apple Valley Tom earned All Conference honors in both 2003 and 2004 and was an All State honoree in 2004. Tom represented the West part of the state in the prestigious Minnesota Lions All Star Game. This success earned him a scholarship to play for the Gophers at the University of Minnesota.
At the U of M Tom continued to succeed both on and off the field. From 2004-2009 Tom was a Scholar Athlete, All Academic Big Ten, All Big Ten 3rd team, 2009 Big Ten All Tournament Team, and named a member of the ABCA All Midwest Team. The Gophers program became a national power during Toms playing career making NCAA Regional appearances in both 2007 and 2009 and being ranked as high as #18 in the country.
After Graduating, Tom was drafted by the Florida Marlins in the 33rd round of the Major League Baseball Draft. He was a starting pitcher for the St. Paul Saints in 2009 and was invited to play for Sandringham Royals of the Victorian Baseball League in Australia.
He spent the summer of 2012 as the Head Coach for the Rosemount Legion Program.
Tom now dedicates all his time to developing young athletes in Minnesota through the Minnesota Mash Baseball Club.
